New Cocktail Menu at PCO Mumbai: An Ode to Textiles
Brother-sister duo, Radhika and Rakshay Dhariwal, founders of Pass Code Hospitality, have launched a unique cocktail menu at their sophisticated speakeasy, PCO, in Lower Parel, Mumbai.
Inspiration from NRK House’s Textile Legacy
NRK House, the location of PCO, was once a textile house in the historic Kamala Mills compound. The new cocktail menu, titled “An Ode to Textiles,” pays homage to this textile legacy.

Crafted by Expert Mixologists
Eight skilled bartenders have meticulously crafted 15 signature cocktails with an Indian twist, inspired by various fabrics. Each cocktail aims to capture the essence of specific textiles.
The Masterminds Behind the Cocktails
- Sourabh Patil: Pashmina, Paithani, Kantha, and Muslin

Banarasi Cocktail: A Taste of Tradition
The Banarasi cocktail, inspired by the iconic Banarasi saree, offers a Negroniesque blend of Gordon’s gin, Cinzano Rosso vermouth, and Campari infused with betel leaf. It also includes absinthe and a heart-shaped betel leaf garnish.
Immersive Cocktail Experience
PCO takes the cocktail experience to the next level. Guests are invited to a private dining room for an immersive adventure centered around their chosen cocktail. The experience includes tactile interaction with the fabric, a video showcasing the textile’s origins, and a mixologist’s vision explanation.
Engaging Guests and Social Media Potential
This innovative approach encourages guests to engage with their drinks and the bar staff. It’s not just about sipping a cocktail; it’s about experiencing a unique story with complexity and perspective.

Future Plans
Radhika mentions the possibility of extending this evolved cocktail experience beyond the launch night, recognizing that these cocktails are more than just drinks—they are individual stories waiting to be explored.
