Virgin Mojito

Origins

The history of Mojito goes way back in the 1500s when Sir Francis Drake landed in Havana Cuba to sack its Gold. Well he didn’t find Gold but what he did find was Aguardiente de Conyo (fermented sugar cane juice) Lime and Mint which cured his sailors. The drink was then called ‘El Draque’, and a couple of years later someone added soda to the drink and renamed it as ‘Mojito’
