ABOUT

Karina Aggarwal is the Founder-Director of Gigglewater Beverage Concepts Pvt. Ltd., an independent beverage consultancy in the alcobev space – working across wine, beer, spirits and cocktails. With a background in journalism, she began her career in the industry a decade ago as a writer but grew to study and complete various courses in the space. Today, as a certified beverage professional, she consults with brands and establishments on strategy, development and communication as well as on-ground trade trainings and consumer tastings, workshops, events and digital activations. She also contributes to various publications including
GQ India, Condenast Traveller and The Hindu.

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

• Certified Educated trainer program from wset.
• Certified WSET Level 1 & 2 in beers
• She has been a jury member, since the last eight years, at the prestigious international wine competition Concours Mondial de Bruxelles.
• She has also been on the jury of Brussels Beer Challenge, Brazil Beer Competition and CMB Spirits Selection.
