Purpose
Tulleeho is committed to delivering WSET® courses, assessments, and examinations in full compliance with WSET® rules, regulations, and quality standards. This policy outlines how Tulleeho prevents, identifies, reports, and manages any instance of malpractice or maladministration to protect both students and the integrity of WSET® qualifications.
Scope
This policy applies to:
– All candidates enrolled in WSET® programmes delivered by Tulleeho
– All Tulleeho staff, educators, invigilators, and administrators
– Any individual involved in the delivery, administration, or assessment of WSET® qualifications
Understanding Maladministration
Maladministration refers to unintentional errors, negligence, or poor administrative practices that result in non-compliance with WSET® policies and procedures. This may include repeated mistakes, delays, or failures in following required processes.
Understanding Malpractice
Malpractice refers to deliberate actions that breach WSET® regulations and compromise the fairness, security, or validity of teaching, examinations, or qualifications.
Examples of Malpractice
Malpractice may include, but is not limited to:
– Improper use or handling of examination materials
– Conduct that disrupts or undermines the examination process
– Use or possession of unauthorised materials (including mobile phones or electronic devices) during examinations
– Sharing or attempting to obtain exam-related information before the examination has concluded
– Impersonation or arranging for another person to sit an examination
– Copying from another candidate or working collaboratively during an assessment
– Any behaviour intended to gain an unfair advantage
Such actions are treated very seriously.
Consequences of Malpractice
Depending on the severity of the incident, outcomes may include:
– A formal written warning
– Examination results being cancelled
– Disqualification from a WSET® qualification
– Exclusion from future WSET® courses or assessments
All actions will be taken in line with WSET® guidance.
Reporting Malpractice or Maladministration
Any individual who becomes aware of suspected or actual malpractice or maladministration must report it promptly.

Where applicable, the report should include:
1- Name of the candidate involved
2- Name and role of any staff member involved
3- Description of the incident, including relevant dates and details
4- Any supporting evidence available
Investigation Process
– All reported cases are treated confidentially and investigated thoroughly
– Tulleeho will conduct a fair and impartial review of the matter
– Where required, the matter will be escalated to WSET® Awards for further guidance
– Outcomes will be documented, and corrective actions implemented to prevent recurrence
