Our wine trainer, Sonal Holland has completed a variety of wine courses and obtained formal qualifications in the study of wines from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) at London. WSET is today recognised as one of the world’s foremost international body in the field of wines and spirits education, with a suite of sought- after qualifications.

Sonal Holland started her career in the hospitality industry after completing her Diploma in Hotel Management from the Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai. During her employment with the Taj Group and Oberoi Group of Hotels, she has acquired significant working knowledge of all aspects of the hotel industry, and food & beverage in particular.

Sonal also holds a Masters degree in Management Studies from the University of Mumbai. Her more recent career stint was with Kelly Services, a US$ 6 billion NASDAQ listed global staffing giant, as the Director of National Sales.

Sonal’s continued curiosity, interest and passion in wines over the years has compelled her to re-align her career interests and she has today engaged herself in various wine events including wine tastings, wine marketing, training, education and consulting. She continues to pursue her formal study of wines at the WSET, London.

As a professional wine consultant, Sonal Holland continues to make wine education interesting through interactive training that equips you with a comprehensive understanding of wines and wine producing countries, assessing quality of wines, matching food with wine and choosing the right wine for the right occasion.
