I actually got this recipe from my father. We first tried this out in our hostel in Bangalore. All fifteen of us fell in love with the results and consumed over a dozen watermelons that summer.
INGREDIENTS :

PREPARATION :
Start with a watermelon (tarbooz)- the small 'Sugar Baby' sold in Bangalore is perfect. With a knife, make four deep cuts in it in the shape of a square, and pull out the wedge thus created. Into the hole you've just made, slowly pour in a quart of gin. Replace the wedge and put the watermelon into the freezer. Take it out after a couple of hours, by then the gin will have diffused completely in the fruit. Slice it and consume with joy. Perfect for hot summer evenings.
