One of the most popular hangouts in pune with music to die for. The ambience is that of a countryside tavern/inn with an electronic dartboard to give you company. You will find the yuppie crowd mingling away over mugs of Barman's pitcher; a heady mix of vodka, gin, white rum, beer, martini and rose water. The pulsating rock'n'roll music will remind you of the good ol' 70's.

The service is good and prompt (even if the place is tearing at the seams with people) But people expecting a free snack will get a thumbs down but the prices of snacks are pretty affordable.

They also have a small open air garden restaurant in the front for the ones preferring a place away from the music but still want to relish the fantastic Indian cuisine. Their bar is also well stocked and the DJ is also well stocked to service your requests.

the place no longer has the electronic dart board. the music too has moved to suit the young college goers with pop and techno. gone are the days when you could sit back and enjoy good rock. now the place is bursting at the seams with people and on saturdays you have a cover charge of Rs 300 too.

Could not agree with this review more except for the DJ request.I think they have stopped takin requests and the music has become poppish.I mean it's no fun downing a Barman's with Britney crooning in the background

HI!! WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT 1000 OAKS IS THE BEST HANGOUT IN PUNE.I HAVE LEFT PUNE NOW,BUT MISS 1000 OAKS SO MUCH.

if u are saying that u havent been to "T-OAKS" while in pune,, u are either lying or are too sloshed off to realise what u are saying.....it's the mecca of anti-teetotalers...
