YANGDUP LAMA

Over 12 years of bartending experience, Yangdup started his career from Polo Lounge at the Hyatt Regency, New Delhi. Received professional training in bartending from the renowned international bartender LAVAL LIM HON of the Waikiki Cocktail Bar, Majorca, Spain in 1996 and 1997.

As a Bartender he has won many prestigious awards like:

· The H&FS excellence award for “the Indian bartender of the year” in 1996
· Winner of the Asia Pacific "30 UNDER 30"award from Susan and Field associates Hong Kong for being one of the best bartenders in Asia 1997

Qualified bar trainer for beverages from the Hyatt International Chicago in March 1998.
Was instrumental in the commissioning of Djinns, Hyatt Regency, Delhi. India’s first English pub.
In 1999 he started his own freelance and bar consultancy company called Cocktails & Dreams and has managed bars in the most talked about parties in North India.

Yangdup is the resident trainer of Tulleeho.com and has conducted training for consumers and F & B employees through Smirnoff Tastemaker, Bacardi Fix your Mix and Brewing for Non-Brewers (Tiger Beer) sessions.

Has trained over 900 bartenders for Classic bartending and Advanced Mixology under the Diageo Barmans Club and the Bacardi Bar League in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune, Goa, Cochin, Vishakapatnam, Chandigarh, Udaipur, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Agra and other small cities.

Bar consultant for liquor brands like Bacardi Martini, Seagram's- Pernod Ricard and Diageo in India and beverage trainer for ITC Welcome Group Management Institute, Gurgaon.

Has trained 26 key account bartenders for Focus Brands on Marie Brizard Liqueur and Jose Cuervo Tequila cocktails in Dubai and Qatar in July-August 2005

Trained 55 Bartenders in Sri Lanka in Bartending and Mixology under the Bacardi Bar League in June 2006

As a Bar Consultant for Bacardi In India and Sri Lanka he has visited the Bacardi facitility in Catano (Puerto Rico) and has been certified as a qualified Rum trainer for Bacardi Rums and Bacardi cocktails by William Ramos (Global Brand Ambassador) of the Bacardi University, Puerto Rico in September 2006.

Has successfully trained 49 bartenders of all the Taj Luxury Hotels In India in two 12 day bartending workshops in August 2006 and October 2006 at the Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi

NISCHAL GURUNG
He is the Lead instructor for the School and has over Ten years of experience with the food & beverage Industry. He is also a Certified Trainer and a Facilator from Carlton Advanced Management Institute. His Journey to the Beverage industry began when he joined the IHM, Kolkata.

After passing from there in 1996 he joined the Hyatt Regency, New Delhi. He was the Beverage Lecturer at the Food Craft Institute, Darjeeling for 3 years. He has received special training on wines of France and Californian wines through a wine training course conducted by wine experts Madame Danielle, Sopexa Wines and Ms Wong of Ernst & Julio Gallo.

He has conducted training for Hayward’s Black, India’s first Stout beer, Smirnoff Taste Maker Session for Hotel Management Institutes, Bacardi coke and Bacardi Mojitô training. Have also done workshop for Grey Goose & Martell.
