Month Professional Course
The
course for a future bartender.
The course focuses on beverage knowledge from beer and wines
to spirit and liqueurs, an exposure to a bar environment,
etc. It also takes students through the practical mechanics
of bartending such as Bar Preparation and up keep, Mixology
and drink preparation, Garnishes and Presentation, Free-pouring
Techniques and Accuracy. An insight into the “Art of
Flair Bartending” the basic moves to advanced flair.
Customer Relationship building skills, Salesmanship and marketing
the Bar and drinks.
Course Requirements: 10+ 2 with Basic English
is a must.
Course Weight: 50% Theory/50% Practical
Examinations: Theory/Practical
Certification: Certificate of Bartending
Placements: 100% placement assistance
Course Fees: Rs 20,000/- in 2 installments : Rs 10,000/- registration, Rs 10,000/- on completion of 1st month.

Course Outline :
Module
1: (18 hours)
BAR ENVIRONMENT - 1: SPIRIT OF A BAR; This
includes certain necessary elements required to become a bartender
from beverage knowledge to personal character to interactive
skills.
BAR ENVIRONMENT - 2: FUNCTIONAL BAR IN PRACTICE;
This is based on a real bar operations and its basic requirements
like, bar equipments, glassware, beverages in a bar, bar set-up,
etc
THE MECHANICS OF BARTENDING; This program
includes certain skills and art which needs to be combined
with creativity and intelligence in order to be a great bartender.

Module 2: (18 hours)
THE CUSTOMER; My customer: My promoter: My
employer
This course is focused mainly on Customer satisfaction and
the key role to be played by a bartender in attaining customer
satisfaction and experience.
THE PRODUCTS AND SALES; This is based on
salesmanship skills required by a professional bartender.
The main focus is laid on suggestive selling and marketing
your cocktails and spirits.
BEYOND BARTENDING: FLAIR; This focuses on
flair training and bar acrobatics like, bar tricks and excitement
blended with fine polishing and presentation of the bartender
to make him a complete professional.
Module 3: (36 hours)
PRACTICAL TRAINING IN COCKTAIL MAKING AND PROFESSIONAL
BARTENDING; This training includes making about 200
classic cocktails and also learning about the different ways
of creating a new drink. After every day spent in the bar
school students are put to work in our operational bar and
get an exposure to a complete bar experience.
At the end of this module we conduct a test which is based
on theory and practical and overall performance in three months.

Month Refresher Course
Course Overview: a
course for the developing bartender and the enthusiastic mixologist;
this course explores the practicalities of drinks development
and cocktail design, with huge focus on the mixological elements
of bartending and flair bartending.
Course Requirements: Basic English, some amount of food
and beverage background will be an added advantage. (Hotel
Management Graduates)
Course Weight: 40% Theory / 60% Practical
Examinations: Theory/Practical
Certification: Certificate on amateur bartending
Course Fees: Rs 8000/-

Course Details: The course is spread over four weeks and
is as follows:
1st week
Theory of beverages: Fermented, Distilled and Brewed.
Theory on Cocktails: Types, preparations, classics and
contemporary. Drinks of the world: Trends, Styles,
Culture.
Bar Equipment and Glassware: Essentials of the bar and
their usage. The right shake. Drinks presentation in the right
glassware: its importance and results.
2nd week
Introduction to Mixed Drinks: The techniques of mixing,
right ingredients flavour profiling, etc
Practical training on Cocktails: Learn how to make over
200 cocktails from the commercial classics to the contemporaries,
innovative cocktails and spur of the moment cocktails.
3rd week
Practical training on cocktails and flair bartending. The
session includes basic flair to advanced steps taught by one
of the countries leading flair bartenders.
Speed: How to enhance the working speed during busy hours. Organization and set up. The right steps to a perfect and
quick drink.
4th week
Beverage Controls: Spillage and pilferage in a bar.
Beverage Marketing: Marketing your drinks through suggestive
and smart selling.
Art of Bartending: Develop the art through the right
character in the bar.

Cocktails & Dreams offers you an opportunity to learn the basic art of bartending and the techniques involved. Learn how to set up your own bar at home with glasses, equipment and the basics of alcohol. And to show off your newly acquired skills invite your friends home, to enjoy your repertoire of 20 cocktails!!!
Course Duration:-Weekend (Sat & Sun)
Timings: Sat 5 – 7 pm, Sun 2 – 4 pm
